Ustadh Wasif Ali Khan

Wasif Khan was born in Doha, Qatar and moved to the United States at the tender age of two. Being the youngest of four siblings, he was always motivated to excel in his studies. His keen interest in the Book of Allah led him to begin memorizing the Qur’an at a very young age.

In 2010, Wasif enrolled in Bayyinah's Dream Program where he was among the top graduates of its first year. He then obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and went on to work as a marketing professional for a Fortune 100 company. While working full-time, Wasif taught a 1-year Quranic Arabic Program for Islamic Learning Foundation in Chicago.

In 2014 Wasif graduated from the Qalam Institute's 1-year Islamic Seminary. Currently he teaches and serves as the program director for Bayyinah's Access and 10-Day Arabic Programs.
What Our Students Are Saying

I especially love the passion with which Ustadh Wasif teaches and the Quranic gems that are provided throughout the course which keeps us motivated and focused on the end objective. Bayyinah has somehow made learning grammar fun!
~ Farhana Emir, Malaysia

I attended the Arabic class with Ustadh Wasif and for the first time understood the States of Ism. I had tried multiple times to understand the concept - using videos and books - but never really grasped the concept the way I did yesterday. JazakAllahu khair for that!
~ Mansoor Syed, USA

I'd just like to personally thank you for bearing with us and teaching us in these past 10 days. I myself am a 14 year-old and I attended all your classes and they really did affect my life :) We would be honored to have you back in Bahrain very soon inshaAllah.
~ Sana Ahmed, Bahrain

Dear Ustadh Wasif, thanks to you, I go about doing my usual work with the Muslimun Musliman Muslimin beat in my head instead of some song that I heard somewhere. It would be an honor to learn from you again.
~ Muhammad Ammar Amin, Bahrain

My daughter, Pireh Moosa, finished the course with Ustadh Wasif yesterday Alhamdulillah. Firstly, I want to thank you sincerely for not only conducting this course, but for conducting it the way you did. MashaAllah Pireh learnt a lot and enjoyed it immensely. To be honest, I was quite apprehensive in the beginning as I thought it would be too tough for Pireh but Alhamdulillah I am so happy now. All credit goes to your approach given to you by Allah.
~ Dr. Shazia Moosa, Malaysia

Thanks to Ustadh Wasif who patiently taught us Quranic Arabic over the last 10 days. I truly benefited from this class. I never thought learning anything in an intensive format would be enjoyable. Let alone Arabic!
~ Adia Adnan, Malaysia

I really have no words to express how awesome you made this course for us. May Allah swt bestow His blessings upon you and your family.
